San Antonio Land for Sale

Someone once said, “Every Texan has two homes - his own and San Antonio.” What makes San Antonio so special? For one, San Antonio’s unique blend of Tejano culture and cosmopolitan attractions have helped make it the fastest-growing large city in Texas. Also, there is plenty of affordable land for sale in San Antonio, allowing anyone the chance of owning a little corner of this remarkable city.

Small residential lots are plentiful inside the Interstate 410 loop. Lots located south and west of downtown are the least expensive. Quarter to half-acre lots in these neighborhoods range in price from $3,000 to $7,000. A quarter-acre lot on Cactus Street, for example, is listed at $4,400. This lot is just blocks away from two elementary schools and the Alamodome, the temporary home of the New Orleans Saints.

The fastest residential growth is occurring north of the city. Land prices there range from $25,000 for an acre lot to more than $1 million dollars for a 100-acre parcel. Demand is particularly high for land south of Highway 1604 because of the easy commute. A 1.2-acre lot on Pebble Lane, for example, is listed for $119,000. A half-acre lot near Silver Horn Golf Club is also listed at $119,000. Larger tracts north of Highway 1604 are a better bargain in terms of price per acre. A 7-acre tract in the Century Oaks subdivision is listed at $475,000. And a 20-acre tract on Talley Road can be yours for just $400,000. Whatever your needs or interests are, you are sure to find the right lot from the San Antonio land for sale.
