San Antonio is the second largest city in Texas, and it also happens to be the fastest growing market in the state. If you’re looking at homes for sale in San Antonio, you are looking at an area ripe with new developments. Here are some recent developments, as well as real estate trends, you may want to consider:
Just recently, Centex announced plans to develop a master-planned community on the far west side of San Antonio. One thousand homes will be built over 230 acres of land in a region known as Silver Oaks. You should be able to find homes ranging from $90,000 to $170,990 in the area.
Another development on the south side of San Antonio is scheduled to begin in 2006. Terramark Communities and McGuyer Homebuilders have teamed up to produce a larger master-planned community, with retail as well as real estate developments. About 750 single-family homes will be built over 175 acres, and sales should begin in 2007.
These are just two of the most recent real estate developments in San Antonio. Even if you can’t wait for these homes, there are plenty of homes for sale in San Antonio that offer affordability and great interest rates. The average home here only costs $119,100. At this price, it couldn’t hurt to look.
